Start regedit 2. Open the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE and delete the MiK subkey. 3. Open the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software and delete the MiK subkey. 4. Remove the MiKTeX item from the Windows start menu. 5.
