You code works fine on my Window. MiKTeX using TeXwork but you did not have the following lines for proper linebreak \XeTeXlinebreaklocale "zh" \XeTeXlinebreakskip = 0pt plus 1pt If question still persists, update your MiKTeX (Taiwan site is good) and then "refresh FNDB" at MiTeX Options.
