let me try to guess....
The command "grep -R 10 *.lst" does not provide proper a glob for
grep(1) to recurse into the directory grub/. That is, if I'm right,
the command "grep -R 10 *" would do the job if one really does
have have a clue where it could be... In another word, you could
try to create a direcorty named, say, 1.lst/ and try command
"grep -R 10 *.lst" again. I think it surely would recurse into
this directoy.
