The ATEN KVM setting is Low Speed for which maxpacketsize parameter is 0x08. Logitech Unifying setting is High Speed for which maxpacketsize parameter is 0x02. When Windows 7 recognizes the ATEN KVM(0x08) but later, when when it receives receive the Unifying device parameter as 0x02 (because the KVM device looks like a hub to Windows and hence gets interrogated first), Windows 7 gets confused.
