locale problem in my system
this is my setting with "locale" command output.
# locale
LANG=zh_TW.Big5
LC_CTYPE="zh_TW.Big5"
LC_COLLATE="zh_TW.Big5"
LC_TIME="zh_TW.Big5"
LC_NUMERIC="zh_TW.Big5"
LC_MONETARY="zh_TW.Big5"
LC_MESSAGES="zh_TW.Big5"
LC_ALL=zh_TW.Big5
i set locales in .xinitrc, .tcshrc, .login
but my system does not think so ?
because when i exec "xcin2.5" & "perl -v" will appear following messages.
# perl -v
perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
LC_ALL = "zh_TW.Big5",
LC_CTYPE = "zh_TW.Big5",
LC_MESSAGES = "zh_TW.Big5",
LANG = "zh_TW.Big5"
are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
# xcin2.5
xcin: error: C locale "zh_TW.Big5" is not supported by your system.
after cvsup to freebsd 6.0-beta, my system appear this problem.
how to solve it ? :(
