[問題] 關於硬碟的"geometry

想請教一下我的主機板是比較舊的接了三個硬碟分別是 hitachi 120g maxter 120g hitache 160g 簡稱(H120, M120, H160) 開機的時候 BIOS分別抓到 H120 : 116G M120 : 116G H160 : 137G 我以前是用Freebsd 4.7來fdisk他的沒下什麼特別參數就整個硬碟切一個區 /dev/ad1s1e 113G 99G 5.0G 95% /mnt/hitachi /dev/ad2s1e 113G 92G 12G 89% /mnt/maxtor /dev/ad3s1e 151G 130G 8.9G 94% /mnt/hitachi160 分別抓到的之後換到Freebsd 5.3的機器上在/stand/sysinstall底下這三顆硬碟會顯示 H120: WARNING: A geometry of 239340/16/63 for ad1 is incorrect. Using │ │a more likely geometry. If this geometry is incorrect or you │ │are unsure as to whether or not it's correct, please consult │ │the Hardware Guide in the Docume ntation submenu or use the │ │(G)eometry command to change it now. │ │ │ │Remember: you need to enter what ever your BIOS thinks the │ │geometry is! For IDE, it's what you were told in the BIOS │ │setup. For SCSI, it's the transl ation mode your controller is │ │using. Do NOT use a ``physical geometry''.
